KHANY AND POKY - SYNDA - THE VINEANS - IDEA?

Khany and Poky
Khany Often, friendship takes Yoko beyond the stars, to a planet named Vinea. There she has the delight to find back Khany and her, much younger, twin sister Poky. Put to deep sleep to withstand the long journeys across galaxies, they were awakened several years apart. "Poky came early in the series. I wanted through her to demonstrate the principle of the awakening of twin sisters with some interval. One becoming the younger sister of the other. This little girl surrounded by technology and big machines is a moment of dream that brings everything back to a children world. For I want to remain a children's author." You can meet Khany and Poky in the following albums nr. 1, nr. 3, nr. 6 ,nr. 8, nr. 10, nr. 13, nr. 18 and nr. 21.
Synda
Poky, Khany and Synda And then there is Synda, the mother of Khany and Poky. Synda has also been brought into a deep sleep. However she was not awakened before Khany reached her age. Mother and daughter now have the same age. Poky found her mother back and Khany now gained a sister instead of a mother. You can find Synda in the series from album nr. 6
The Vineans
Khany and Yoko From her first advanture, Yoko was, accidentaly, exposed to one of the most sophisticated and believable culture of science-fiction: the Vineans. These blue men, with their ultramodern vehicles moving along magnetic rails, who manage to disintegrate wihtout traces the hardest rocks, who can understand any language thanks to their translating-headphones, have reached a level of technology and power such that they conquer and rule Earth. Yet they only dream of one thing: return to their planet which they had to flee 400,000 years ago because of an imminent cataclysm. Yoko joins them in this journey at the end of which they discover, intact, the planet with two suns. And, for the first time in hundreds of thousands of years, in a moment of intense emotion for Khany, they will meet survivors of the disaster. Vinea is not dead! They can settle there again, and Yoko will regularly return to participate in its exploration.
Idea ?
"Vinea is a world that could exist, but that I created from scratch. Its origin dates back to my childhood. In the barbershop of my father, an advertisement touting the Nivea cream - that, dyslexic, I turned into Vinea drew my attention. Over the time, the image had faded and only the blue remained. A girl on the poster had, therefore, the skin blue. I was convinced that the cream made the skin turn blue. And so when I imagined those people from space, I remembered this. One - alas - sometimes must wait to be adult to tell about his childhood dreams."
