Bruges. Since 1545 a bottle containing germs of the plague is hidden somewhere inside the city walls. To prevent an accident from creating a new epidemic, Yoko Tsuno must go back to the past, to the middle of the 16th century, to find the place where the bottle is hidden. Once there, someone who would give everyone the shivers awaits her. In this 20th adventure Yoko meets... the devil.
